December 12, 2016

1. Play Holiday Music
If you decide to pack instead of letting Inside Moves to do it for you, make sure everyone is involved Do it as a family, with holiday music playing. Sing along, if you can.

2. Put the Tree Up First
If you’re moving during Christmas, make sure that as soon as you arrive at your new home, put the tree up – as a family, keeping the holiday spirit alive, especially when this is the first thing you do in the new house.

3. Dine Out This Year
When all of your holiday dishes packed, and boxes are filling up your entire home, the last thing you want is to host a holiday dinner, have your feast at a local restaurant. Remember, it isn’t the food that makes the occasion special. It’s the people!

4. Take the Time to Explore
When you arrive at your new home, you will be in a new place. It will be unfamiliar, and it could come off as a little bit depressing. Don’t let it. This is the perfect opportunity to see what your new hometown has to offer and to meet people that you may not any other time of year.
